My Top 8: Winter 2014 Nail Polish Picks

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to be sharing my favourite nail polishes that I like to wear during the winter months. I personally love wearing neon nail colours but during winter I wear colours that are alot less bright. I have picked some high end nail polishes and some drugstore ones.

I love alot of colours during winter because I love painting my nails during Christmas time so this was very hard to pick. I personally love wearing glitter nail polishes so my nail polish picks would not be complete without a bit a sparkle and glitter. I own alot of glitter nail polishes but Barry M nail polish is 'ROOTS' (349) is my favourite one out of them all. I prefer it because it has all the different colours of glitter. However this is a limited edition nail polish that I bought last year so it might not be available anymore. Another one of my favourites is the red nail lacquer by Lollipops which I got in my October Birchbox. This is a classic red colour and red is a winter staple colour. I also really like the nail polish from Estee Lauder which is in the colour Fushsia Flame (17). It looks quite bright in the bottle but on the nails it comes out as a pink plum colour. I also love it because it is long lasting and I would highly recommend it.

My favourite nude colour is a light brown colour from miss sporty. This colour is perfect for everyday and the nail polishes are super cheap. The purple colour (235) from Candy is also one of my favourites because the colour is a all year round colour. It also has a long applicator which makes it really easy to apply. I recently purchased the MUA nail polish in Orchid. This colour is a dull purple and I think it will look nice with any monochrome outfit because it will just add a bit of colour.

Another purple nail polish is the colour Blackcurrant from no7. This colour is quite similar to the Candy one but it is a bit darker and its a bit more expensive. My last nail polish pick is a Channel nail colour in Paradoxal (509). This is a dark grey colour with purple shimmer running through it. I personally don't think this colour is to everyone's preference but I like it alot.

These are all of my Winter 2014 nail polish picks. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Tomorrow is the first day of December which means I can finally open my advent calender and the official countdown to Christmas begins! I'm also starting blogmas tomorrow.

November Primark Haul

Hello Everyone

Today I'm going to be showing you what I have recently bought in primark. I only bought these things a couple of days ago so everything should still be in store. I'm not sure if is just me but I feel like Primark aren't as good as they used to be. A year ago there was alot of stuff that I liked in primark but now every time I go there I like less of the stuff there. I was planning on buying more stuff for winter but there really wasn't much that I liked. I might go back to primark before Christmas and hopefully they will have more stuff then. However the stuff that I did buy I really love. I am going to be doing a winter look book in December which will feature most of the clothes in this haul because you cant see how the clothes look clearly on the picture.

The things that I bought are:
-A black tee dress
-Navy frilly socks
-Over the knee cotton socks
-A grey jumper with a white collar
-A hanging heart shaped frame
-Blue skinny jeans
-A pack of fairy lights
-A black satchel bag

Blogmas

I have a very exciting announcement - I AM DOING BLOGMAS THIS YEAR!
I was thinking about whether I'm going to be doing blogmas this year or not but I have decided I am. I personally love watching vlogmas vlogs on YouTube so I thought I would do blogmas a bit differently. I am going to be writing a blog post once a week on what I did for that one whole week. This weekly blog post will contain pictures of what I did for the past week. This means that I will be putting up blog posts 3 times a week.

I hope you have enjoyed my primark haul. If you have any Christamssy blog post suggestions than leave them below. I also hope that you are excited about blogmas as much as I am.

Favourite Autumn/Winter Lip Products

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to be sharing my favourite lip products for winter. In summer I blogged about my top 5 nail colours for summer and it was very popular so I thought I would do the same for lip products. I was going to do my top 5 lip products but I couldn't choose my top 5 because I love all of these. All of these are affordable and my must haves for winter. In autumn/winter I  tend to go towards the darker and red lips.

My first must have is my Leigh Anne little mix collection lipgloss. I fell in love with this lipgloss when it first came out, I got it nearly a year ago but I only really re discovered it a couple of months ago and I have been loving it. I think the reason why I fell in love with it was because its really sparkly. I also love the baby lips in berry bomb. This tinted lipbalm is just a perfect winter purple colour. I have reviewed it on my blog not too long ago so if you want a full review on it just click here. The mint eos lipbalm is another one of my favourites. Its just a normal lip balm that smells really minty and when you apply it, it gives a cooling feel to the lips which also makes it really moisturising. I have 5 eos lip balms but the mint one is always my favourite one.

One of my must have lip products every winter is the baby lips in cherry me. This is a tinted moisturiser in a red plumb colour. I love this because it is a really autumnal colour and its really easy to wear. This lip balm goes with any makeup look, its really easy to wear and it always look nice. It smells like cherries and it has a shiny finish. It has been a favourite for a couple of years now. My next favourite is a red lipgloss from the Kelly Brook new look collection. This lipgloss isn't very bright red and it dries to a matte finish. I have also reviewed this lipgloss and the kelly Brook collection here. My favourite lipstick is a dark pink colour from MUA in shade 12. This lipstick is long lasting and it has glitter in it which make your lips look really pretty. If you want a more in depth review on it click here.

My favourite lip scrub is the Santa lip scrub from Lush. It exfoliates your lips leaving them smooth & soft. Its also winter appropriate because it is called 'Santa', Its red and it leaves a slight red tint on your lips. The lip product that I have been wearing ALOT recently is the Barry M cor balmy in the colour jam jar. This is a red tinted moisturiser. I love the cor balmy's because they have a lip balm in the middle which really moisturises your lips. Its really pigmented and its one of my favourite tinted lip balms out of all of the ones that I own.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post. I'm going to be doing alot of winter and Christmasy blogs so make sure you read those. comment your favourite lip products.

October 2014 Favorites

Hello Everyone,

November has finally come which means its time for me to share my October favourites with you. During October I start using products that are alot more moisturising because it starts getting colder so my skin and hair need more moisture. I am so happy that its finally November because this not only means there's one month until Christmas but it also means that its officially Autumn and I love November weather too.

My first favourite is my Asda jar candle in the scent 'Peony Blossom'. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know I love candles in general but this candle is just amazing. It has a fresh smell that smells a bit like lavender but it also have a nice warming feeling. This candle is really big, it lasts for ages and its not expensive at all.

My next two favourites are both from Dove. My first favourite is the silk glow body wash by Dove. I love this because it is really nourishing and moisturising and it smells amazing (like most dove products do). I have managed to use up the whole bottle throughout the month of October.
My second Dove favourite is the dove hair therapy dry shampoo. I have talked about this dry shampoo so much because it seriously works wonders, all you need to do is spray this onto the roots of your hair then massage it into your scalp and it adsorbs all the excess oil leaving your hair looking clean in-between washes.

My third favourite is the Beautycyle mask, scrub and brighter from the Fire collection. My skin started getting really bad during September and it only has just started getting back to being normal. I had constant breakouts because towards the end of summer my skin got really oily. I tried out a few products but nothing seemed to work. I then bought this product hoping for the best and it has helped my skin so much. I use it twice a week and it scrubs off all your dead skin cells leaving your skin very smooth and it also brightens it. It has also helped me control my oil as well which means I haven't had really bad breakouts. I'm not going to go too much into depth about this because I do want to do a separate blog post about it.

My next two favourites are both from Nivea and they are both lip products. The first one is the Nivea lip butter in raspberry rose. I love this because it not only moisturises your lips but it also has a really nice smell which to me smells like raspberry yoghurt. It is a light pink colour and it also lasts ages. My other Nivea favourite is the pearly shine lip balm. I featured this in my Products I've Used Up/Empties blog post that I wrote in May. I used the whole thing up but I loved it so much I re bought it, its great for autumn/winter because it feels really nice on the lips and it adds a nice pearly shine.

My next favourite is quite random but its a tea. As it starts getting colder I drink more hot drinks and tea is one of them. While my skin was going through a hard time I bought this Twinnings pure green tea because green tea has alot of benefits. I bought it decaffeinated because it still tastes the same and caffeine isn't the best for you.

My final October 2014 favourite is the L'oreal Elnett Satin volume excess hairspray. This hairspray doesn't leave your hair sticky sand it disappears at the stroke of a brush. It leaves your hair with a shiny finish and lasts all day long. It also adds lot of volume to your hairstyle.

These are all of my October 2014 favourites. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and that you try some of the things out.
