Summer 2014 Favourites

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm going to be showing you my Summer 2014 favourites. During the summer I didn't do many monthly favourites (in fact I only did one) because
I was loving mostly the same products. I know its not officially the end of Summer but I'm just really excited for Autumn and I'm over summer, so why not wrap summer 2014 up with my favourites?

The first couple of things that I have loved two summers in a row are the Palmers cocoa butter lip balm and the NSPA raspberry body mist. I discovered these two products last year and they have been my summer staples ever since! The lip balm moisturises and smooths your lips and the body mist makes you smell fruity on those hot, sticky summer days.

Another product that I have re discovered in my make-up collection is a Rimmel lipstick in the colour 600 soft coral. This colour is a very pretty orangey coral colour with shimmer. I got this lipstick around 1-2 years ago so I'm not sure if they still sell it.

My fourth favourite is a dry shampoo from Dove. I heard lots of things about this dry shampoo from 'Zoella' (beauty blogger) and I decided to try it out because I am always looking for better dry shampoo's. I love using dry shampoo's because my hair gets quite oily within one day after washing it, but I heard many times that it is not good to wash your hair so dry shampoo's keep me going for one more day before I have to wash my hair. It absorbs most of the oils from your hair and it doesn't leave white powder in your hair.

Another product is the Dove summer glow lotion. This lotion has colour in it so when you use it you can gradually build up your tan. This lotion is very moisturising and not streaky at all, you can also buy it with shimmer but I prefer this one without the shimmer.

My last three favourites are beauty favourites, they are the natural collection cream blush in rosy pink, the bronzing powder from miss sporty and the Kohl pencil from Barry M. The cream blush is a really nice pink colour which I think will also look amazing in autumn and it just creates a nice glow on your cheeks. The Kohl pencil from Barry M is in a really pretty bright pink colour and its also very long lasting. My last favourite is the bronzing powder from miss sporty. This is a highlighter and bronzer duo in the colour 'I'm Blonde and fabulous'. This bronzer just creates a really nice bronzed glow and it also absorbs oils.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post. My next upcoming blog posts are going to be be Autumn related.

Review: Kelly Brook New Look Makeup Range

Hello Everyone,

I recently went into new look to have a look at their new autumn clothes and I came across this makeup range. I instantly fell in love with all the makeup because not only are the colours really pretty but the rose gold packaging looks pretty too. I really like this makeup range and I personally didn't know that Kelly Brook had her own makeup line in new look. These products are still available in new look and on the new look website but I'm not sure if this makeup line is limited edition or not.

The first time I went I only bought the eye shadows, eye liner and the pink ligloss but I loved the lipgloss so much I went back to get it in a different colour!  The eye shadows are all neutral every day colours and are very easy to use. They are all shimmery and very pigmented. The eye shadows are soft and velvety. I'm personally addicted to felt tip eye liners so when I saw the eye liner I fell in love with it straight away. The rose gold packaging looks amazing and the eye liner itself is long lasting and it gives a precise black line. The lip glosses smell like sweets and they are really moisturising. The pink lip gloss is a light pink shimmery colour that is very pigmented and not sheer at all. The red colour is quite bright but you can just blend it in to make the colour less intense, this lipgloss dries to a matte lipstick finish but it still keeps your lips moisturised.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post.

Review: Electro Baby Lips

Hello Everyone,

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Maybelline Baby Lips electro collection. I was very excited when Maybelline came out with a electro collection because I love 'pink punch' and 'cherry me' from their original baby lips collection. I love the original collection because the lip balms are very moisturising and pigmented so I had high standards for the electro collection. For anyone who doesn't know what baby lips are, they are tinted lip balms.

I have these baby lips in the colours 'Berry Bomb', 'Oh!Orange' and 'Pink Shock'. These are very pigmented they last alot longer than the original collection. Although they look quite bright they look very nice on and not too extreme. When I wear one all day it helps keep my lips moisturised throughout the whole day. I love these colours and I wear them so much already and I know I'm going to get alot of use out of them in autumn/winter. These lip balms have quite a shiny finish.

Berry Bomb, Oh! Orange, Pink Shock

I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post. I definitely recommend the baby lips electro collection.
